Mahesh Kumar Gupta
ChairmanMr. Mahesh K. Gupta is a respected name within the power sector, almost synonymous with the brand Jakpower. Having gained technical knowledge at the coveted Delhi College of Engineering, he joined family business in the year 1967 and then he led the business from the front ever since with enormous success. Despite various challenges over so many years, his highly motivated team has some truly remarkable achievements to its credit. The company has many customers, most of which have loyally stayed with it for more than a few decades now, purely because of the core principle of “customer centricity” that Mr. Mahesh has driven intransigently within his team. It deals in higher volume of SKUs which is far larger than any of its competitors and the customers value this immensely. He maintains & promotes a culture wherein good performance is suitably rewarded and poor performance is dealt with appropriately. He maintains an un-dithering focus on diversification, innovation and synergy across multiple product streams.
Manmohan Chadha
Vice ChairmanMr. Manmohan, a combined product of Delhi College of Engineering and Birla Institute of Technology with post graduate specialization in “Space Engineering & Rocketry”, has been with the company for more than 35 years. His hands-on style of leadership is the major reason that his team rallies behind him unflinchingly. The “go-to” man in any crisis, he knows the pulse of his customers and never misses a call from one even if it’s midnight. The company trusts him blindly for his skills in “dynamic strategy formulation” in this fast paced world of changing customer needs. He drives the company’s business plan under highest levels of corporate governance and identifies areas with scope for achieving greater process efficiencies. His special initiatives to drive process efficiencies have re-engineered many a process with huge benefits for the company. His focus on core value of “human relations” is the main reason that his customers swear by him and his team regards him as a true leader.
Pravin Jain
Managing DirectorMr. Pravin, the young face of the company, is the new age leader entrusted with the key responsibility of devising & executing company’s long-term strategy. A graduate of Delhi College of Engineering, he is a thorough bred engineer with proven track record in manufacturing of auto components. His sharp business acumen enables him to take key business decisions, even in trickiest of situations. His leadership brings about a fresh perspective to the core aspects of business. He is at the forefront of embedding within the company latest technology solutions in matters of customer relationship management, inventory & warehouse management, key management information & decision making and workforce management. He believes in the power of human resources and leads the company’s hiring efforts personally from the front to ensure highest quality of resources hired. He travels around the world to gather market intelligence and pick on best of technologies available globally.
Yashpal Sahnan
Chief Executive OfficerMr. Yashpal is a hands-on leader and hard task master. A Graduate from Punjab Technical University and MBA from AIMA (Crash Course) with extensive engineering experience, he loves to meet his commitments and expects the same from his team. His details oriented approach helps him stay updated with latest progress (or lack of it) on all fronts. His one-to-one touch point with all his employees ensures top class service delivery and a “WOW” experience for his customers. His no-nonsense approach keeps his team on the toes and helps faster turnarounds. The company benefits immensely from his networking skills and his ability to reach out to prospects. He is a master at converting prospects and bagging large orders. The customer is “God” for him and he would go to any extent to please one. The company’s state-of-the-art plant at Silvassa is his making and he walks visitors around with immense pride. He is an executive member of “Silvassa Industries Association” and is closely associated with several social & environmental causes. He has prior work experience in Birla Group, Escorts, Mundratec (UK) and Control Group.
